Happy Easter

Too tired to write as the last few days have been jam-packed with activity, but here are some pictures from this year’s Easter weekend at the Kelly house (mostly food, true to form). Happy Easter and God Bless!!!

John 20:29 – Jesus said to Thomas, “You believe because you’ve seen me. Blessed are those who haven’t seen me but believe.”

Hot Cross Buns as made by me – a mix of Irish and American-style traditions. (And you thought HCB’s were all the same, didn’t you?)

Hard to keep Evelyn still for a photo these days! She’s 3 1/2 months old now, which is so hard to take in! A daily bundle of energy,  barrel of laughs and load of laundry.

My contribution to Easter dinner – a dark chocolate Easter cake resembling a bird’s nest. The recipe is one I tried from Nigella Lawson’s “Feast” cookbook, and while it didn’t go exactly according to plan, it was still rich and yummy.

  1. Love your buns, Maryann! They are picture-perfect. Along with all your new mommy stuff, you’re sure doing some wonderful baking. Happy Easter!

  2. Dad, here. Yes, your buns are second only to Mom’s buns. Which partly explains why we were almost late to the last service this morning.

    Happy Easter. Jesus lives!

  3. I just come here and look at the comments when I want to be cheered. Te he.

Everything looks amazing, MK. When are we going to start our bakery and apron shop?
